This two-hour practical workshop will introduce you to the basics of black and white analogue photography, and will teach you how to use a 35mm SLR/ film camera, focusing on exposure, exploring manual settings, loading a film and going on a short walk to take picture. This course is suitable for beginners or those with a basic knowledge of photography.
We will cover:
· The technical use of SLR cameras
· Looking at creative exposure control, understanding your camera’s light meter
· Loading your film
· Safely unloading your exposed film
The workshop will take place at The Old Waterworks, on Saturday 28th March, from 10am to 12pm. All equipment and a black/white film will be provided, but you can also bring along your own film camera.
